Brilliant pale yellow hues are speared with youthful hints of green. Aromas are rich and enticing. Grapefruit, green lime, caper, and citrus tones couple with a vibrant note of lychee. Flavors present incredible intensity of grapefruit, lime and lemon zest, all with a subtle thread of fennel.
Stellina di Notte’s Pinot Grigio has lofty, effusive aromas and a suggestive luminous quality. citrus blossom and fresh rain emanate from the glass, followed by honeydew, golden apple and a bite of kiwi. these delicate yet bracing flavors are well balanced with a nice weight of tropical fruit across the palate. The wine has the quality of being both refreshing and clean while good depth of flavor making it an excellent match for summer picnics, light hors d’oeuvres and seafood.
Stellina Di Note
Alamos Chardonnay shows a straw-yellow color with light shades of green. The nose offers ripe tropical fruit aromas with citrus and floral notes. The mouthfeel is full and rich, with concentrated ripe pear and fig fruit mingled with vanilla and sweet spice oak flavors. The finish is clean and fresh with bright, crisp acidity.
Deep, rich garnet color. The wine opens up with aromas of ripe berries, fresh cranberry, candy apple and malted vanilla, some of which carries through to the palate. There’s a hint of Granny Smith apple on first sip that beautifully balances out the rich cream soda and cherry cola notes. It is an extremely layered wine, both in structure and flavor, with a slight earthiness and sweet oak on the finish. The wine almost contradicts itself, managing to display freshness and maturity all at the same time, which is achieved through careful blending.
This Malbec is red-violet in color, with aromas of plums and black cherries and a subtle, smoky scent. The beauty of Malbec in Argentina is its ability to combine a rich, weighty mouth-feel with a soft silkiness normally associated with lighter wines. Elsa Malbec takes the promise of the nose through to the palate, with dark fruits that mimics the aroma. the soft, supple palate and smooth tannins lead to a round and harmonious finish.
Aromas of boysenberry and cassis provide a bright fruit foundation to light floral and sweet milk chocolate notes. The palate finds more fullness of flavor in ripe blackberry and dark stone fruit, interwoven with black licorice and cocoa powder. The plush, full mouthfeel finds structure in well-integrated tannins and draws out to a consistent, lengthy finish.
Chateau St Jean
14.5% Alc. Sangiovese 50%, Grenache 38%, Shiraz 6%, Merlot 6%. The wine from these high-desert grapes was aged in neutral oak for 11 months. A bright, easy-drinking dry red with earthy notes, this wine will pair with pizza, pasta, red meats or barbeque. Or just pour yourself a glass and start cooking.
Wild Child Red
The nose of this wine is dominated by “high pitch” aromatics like cherry, raspberry and spices. The palate has a bright acidity and offers ripe cherry, raspberry and plum flavors with moderate concentration. The tannins are soft, but noticeable. The finish is medium in length and offers tangy cherry flavors.
Banfi Col Di Sasso
The wine offers a brilliant ruby red color. As time passes, the hue is enriched with garnet tones that, as the years go by, lighten further toward orange with an ochre tint typical of Tuscan wines. The aroma is satisfyingly intense, fine and elegant, with light scents of ripe fruits and violets. As it evolves, the wine develops an appealing bouquet that is full and complex. It possesses a pleasant fullness and an outstanding balance of body and structure. Somewhat austere in its youth, the wine softens with age, becoming velvety and developing prolonged and appealing aromatic persistence.
Our 2013 Merlot showcases the dark fruit profile of this varietal with its fresh, ripe fruit appeal and aromas of raspberry sorbet combined with vanilla and toasted dill from oak aging. It expresses flavors of fresh plum, cranberry, cherry and clove. This well-balanced, medium-bodied wine has a dry finish making it a perfect match for a wide range of foods, including pasta with pancetta in tomato sauce, mushroom risotto or a juicy hamburger.
Santo Stefano Lambrusco is crafted in the classic style from the region with a hint of natural sweetness. Therefore, it remains dry enough to compliment many cuisines. It is medium-bodied with fine effervescence. The intense ruby-red color and violet reflections accentuate the natural characteristics of black cherry and red plum on the palate. This refreshing wine is ideal with appetizers such as salami, prosciutto, roasted vegetables, olives, light pastas, and pizza.
